About Us
PPSR Asset Check is a privately operated service providing access to official Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) and National Exchange of Vehicle and Driver Information System (NEVDIS) data (ABN 29690116299).
Service Description
We facilitate online checks of Australian assets via official government databases, including PPSR and NEVDIS, and deliver reports via email.
We operate on a pay‑per‑check basis (no user account required). We submit your input to the relevant official data sources and deliver the official PPSR certificate to you. We do not alter, validate or independently verify government‑sourced data.
Important: You are responsible for entering the correct serial number/asset type; incorrect inputs may return incomplete or unrelated results and fees still apply.
Note: We may offer business accounts and prepaid search bundles in future versions of the service.
Use of Services
By using our service, you agree to:- Provide accurate information when submitting a check- Not misuse or tamper with the website or interfere with its systems- Use reports only for lawful, personal or business-related decisions. You understand that we:- Do not alter or validate government-sourced data- Cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of the information provided and that government sourced data may be limited or unavailable at times.
Payment and Pricing
All pricing is displayed in AUD (GST inclusive) and may change from time to time. Payments are processed by Stripe, which retains transaction records for legal and anti-money-laundering purposes and provides PPSR Asset Check access only to limited customer and transaction information. You may opt to save payment details for convenience, which are securely stored by Stripe – we do not store any card data.
Delivery and Temporary Storage of Reports
Reports are generated and emailed shortly after payment via SendGrid. Reports are also temporarily stored on our server to enable branded delivery via email. These reports are not modified. Operational customer data is retained for up to 60 days; minimal transaction records may be kept longer for tax, dispute resolution and fraud/prevention purposes.
Refund Policy – Customer Guarantees and Refunds
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If our service fails to meet a consumer guarantee (for example, not supplied with due care and skill or within a reasonable time), you may be entitled to a remedy such as re‑supply or refund for a major failure. If a report is not delivered due to a technical issue, contact us with your order number so we can promptly re‑supply it or, if we cannot, provide a refund. Fees are not refunded where incorrect details were entered, except as required by law.
Government-Sourced Data & NEVDIS (Limitations)
PPSR search results and certificates are produced from the official PPSR database. NEVDIS information (e.g., write‑off or stolen status) is provided where available. The PPSR does not host or correct NEVDIS data. Tasmanian stolen vehicle information is not provided via this service. For corrections or stolen‑status queries, contact the relevant state/territory road authority or police.
